About the role:

The Manager, Environmental Services – will oversee a team of approximately 10 professionals tasked with ensuring environmental compliance across major projects and programs throughout Ontario.

This role entails fostering a high-performance, collaborative team capable of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include strategic completion of Environmental Assessments, permits, and approvals, alongside fostering internal collaboration with various lines of business such as Project and Program Delivery, Community Relations, Indigenous Relations, and more. External relationship development with regulators, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders is crucial. Travel throughout southern Ontario is required to support project development and construction phases, including engagement with community leaders and stakeholders to advance project opportunities and resolve challenges.

Selection Criteria:

Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental or utility-related fields, with supervisory experience preferred.

Demonstrated leadership prowess with a knack for cross-functional collaboration.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on sustainability.

Proficient in project management principles and environmental regulations.


Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Forestry, or relevant fields.
