The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Your expertise will be put to good use in a stimulating environment. You will have to play an operational and influential role within the planning department. In addition to participating in the planning process in support of production, you will analyze, plan and write production schedules and discuss with supervisors whether a change in the quantity of materials or a variation in labor is necessary. or take any measures necessary for the repair and assembly of landing gear to meet the customer's requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Writes and maintains a master schedule of the various current contracts in terms of major start-up activities and required deliveries;
  • Analyzes statistics in order to detect any possible delay in the progress of landing gear production and advises production on scenarios allowing contracts to be delivered on schedule;
  • Establishes statistics on the movement of landing gear during production;
  • Writes supply requisitions for materials or services and sets a deadline for receipt of materials in accordance with the production schedule;
  • Writes a general plan of activities taking into account manufacturing capacities and delivery dates required on orders;
  • Analyzes and verifies the availability of components using various reports;
  • Writes the ordering documents, stipulating the clear requirements;
  • Writes and transmits to the supervision of the production and service departments, the documentation necessary to carry out the details of the activities such as master schedules, production schedules, etc.;
  • Maintain contact with different departments or services to ensure that delivery dates are met;
  • Writes a report on the progress of activities/contracts;
  • Uses computer equipment (entry schedules, deliveries, inventory, etc.);
  • Carry out any other similar task entrusted by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or College diploma in production or relevant experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in production, planning in the aeronautical sector or in a highly regulated field
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (advanced level for Excel) is an asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French, spoken and written.
  • Good communicator
  • Great sense of organization and priorities
  • Knowledge of an MRP / ERP system

Le marché Trains d'atterrissage se spécialise dans la conception, la fabrication, la réparation et l'entretien de trains d'atterrissage et de composantes critiques d'avions. Sa clientèle va des fabricants d'équipement d'origine (ou « OEM ») aux exploitants d'appareils, aussi bien dans les marchés commerciaux que militaires.

Votre expertise sera mise à profit dans un environnement stimulant. Vous aurez à jouer un rôle opérationnel et d’influence au sein du département de la planification.

En plus de participer au processus de planification en soutien à la production, vous analyserez, planifierez et rédigerez des calendriers de production et confèrerez avec les agents de maîtrise s'il faut une modification de la quantité du matériel, une variation de main d'œuvre ou prendre toute mesure nécessaire à la réparation et au montage de trains d'atterrissage pour rencontrer les exigences du client.

Principales responsabilités :

  • Rédige et maintien à jour une cédule maîtresse des différents contrats en cours et ce au niveau des grandes activités de démarrage et des livraisons requises;
  • Analyse les statistiques afin de détecter tout retard possible dans l'évolution de la production d'un train d'atterrissage et conseille à la production des scénarios permettant de livrer les contrats dans les délais prévus;
  • Établit des statistiques sur le mouvement des trains d'atterrissage en cours de production;
  • Rédige des réquisitions d'approvisionnement en matériel ou en service et fixe une date limite pour la réception du matériel en conformité au calendrier de production;
  • Rédige une planification générale des activités en tenant compte des capacités de fabrication et des dates de livraison requises sur les commandes;
  • Analyse et vérifie la disponibilité des composantes à l’aide de différents rapports;
  • Rédige les documents de mise en commande en stipulant les requis nets;
  • Rédige et transmet à la supervision des départements de production et service, la documentation nécessaire à la réalisation des détails des activités telles que cédules maîtresses, cédules de production, etc.;
  • Maintien le contact avec les différents départements ou services pour s'assurer que les dates de livraison sont respectées;
  • Rédige un rapport de la progression des activités/contrats;
  • Utilise des équipements informatiques (cédules d'entrées, de livraisons, inventaire, etc.);
  • Exécute toute autre tâche analogue confiée par le supérieur immédiat.

Profil recherché :

  • Baccalauréat en gestion des opérations ou Diplôme d’études collégiales en production ou expérience pertinente
  • Minimum de deux (2) ans d'expérience en production, planification dans le secteur aéronautique ou dans domaine hautement règlementé
  • Connaissance de la suite Office (niveau avancé pour Excel) est un atout
  • Bilinguisme anglais et français, parlé et écrit.
  • Bon communicateur
  • Grand sens de l’organisation et des priorités
  • Connaissance d’un système MRP / ERP
