Your Role with Them:

Report to the Controller and manage the complete payroll process for all employees withinthe group (2 organizations) using the Nethrissystem.

Collect, verify, and processdata related to worked hours, leave, and benefits,ensuring compliance with government requirements.

Ensure the accuracy and precision of payrolldata (worked hours,vacations, leave, salaries, allowances, etc.).

Process adjustments and deductions in a timely mannerand communicate with theaffected employees.

Keep employee recordsup to date on the payroll platform.

Stay informed of various federal and provincial payroll rules and legislation and remainaware of changes(publications, newsletters, webinars,websites, etc.).

Respond to employee inquiries about their compensation and ensure compliance with legal payroll requirements.

Address requests from manager sand employees regarding issues and provide necessary corrections.

Collaborate with your manager to keep the weekly payroll calendar updated, plan for exceptions, and manage priorities.

Complete monthly reports for union dues and WSIB.

Perform other relevant tasks related to your skills.



What You Need:

A DEC in General Administration, Accounting and Management Techniques, or Administrative Techniques from a recognized school or a DEC combined with a relevant undergraduate certificate or a relevant College Studies Attestation (AEC).

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in payroll management.

Accreditation from the National Payroll Institute is an asset.

Good knowledge of Canadian payroll standards (Quebec & Ontario).

Attention to detail, accuracy, and rigor in task execution.

Basic knowledge of the construction sector (CCQ & unions) is an asset.

Proficiency in spoken and written French; functional knowledge of English required for occasional use with internal clients outside Quebec.
