Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (PMP) to perform SA&A governance, create standard operating procedures, and attain ATO documents for public facing Internet portals.

Project Description:

Requires ongoing project management support for a portfolio of enterprise applications which all need to adhere to National Defence security governance processes, known as Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A). DHRIM 3/MCSC need to engage a PM with specialization in SA&A in order to manage the implementation of the DHRIM 3/MCSC Internet Portal as well as the CAF Recruiting Internet Portal.

Must Haves:
  1. Managing SA&A governance for public facing Internet portals (1+ year)
  2. Attaining ATO documents for Internet Applications (1+ year)
  3. Publishing SA&A guidance (1+ year)
  4. SOPs (standard operating procedures) for SA&A projects (2+ SOPs)
  5. Publishing project management products to Microsoft SharePoint portals (1+ year)
Tasks:
  1. Manage one or more projects throughout the system development lifecycle by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost, and performance parameters;
  2. Oversee the work of other IT DHRIM 3/MCSC resources, to ensure alignment with SA&A governance;
  3. Oversee DHRIM 3/MCSC data usage and sharing to ensure compliance with SA&A governance;
  4. Share knowledge of DHRIM 3/MCSC applications and activities with MCSC collaborating teams;
  5. Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business requirements with corporate security governance;
  6. Provide situation awareness of DHRIM 3/MCSC projects to collaborators;
  7. Identify, research, and resolve complex technical and security challenges;
  8. Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions;
  9. Participate in management meetings, like the DHRIM 3/MCSC Client Steering Committee and the DHRIM 3/MCSC Change Management Board;
  10. Recommend new processes which support and enhance the security posture of the DHRIM 3/MCSC;
  11. Provide technical research into various issues as requested by the MCSC technical authority, DHRIM 3 or Senior Officer MCSC.
