Full Job Description
O'Flynn Weese LLP is a well-respected and collegial law firm in Belleville with 8 lawyers and approximately 18 staff. We are a full-service firm that is in immediate need of a Real Estate Clerk with at least two years of legal experience. The position is on a full-time basis.
The position involves managing real estate files from beginning to end and will involve preparing closing documents, coordinating with clients, lenders, and other law firms, and closing and reporting of real estate transactions and related administrative tasks.
The role requires strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to deadlines.
- Highly organized with the ability to be proactive and follow through.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Above-average client service and interpersonal skills.
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong keyboarding/computer skills (primarily Word and Outlook).
Prior experience and familiarity with Teraview and conveyancing software is essential.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, but occasionally involves staying a bit later to ensure completion of real estate transactions.
