Project Manager - ICI Construction (Health-Care Renovations, and Fit-Outs)
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of ICI construction projects with a heavy emphasis on the Hospital Health Care vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing new builds, renovations, and fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Initiation:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize project specifications. - Project Execution:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all construction activities adhere to project plans and safety standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and quality standards. - Budget and Cost Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs.
Authorize and approve purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
Conduct regular financial reviews and forecasts to ensure project stays within budget. - Scheduling and Coordination:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process. - Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets the required standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Manage punch lists and ensure all deficiencies are addressed before project handover.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
Monitor and manage project risks, making adjustments as necessary to minimize impact.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries. - Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, reports, schedules, and correspondence.
Prepare regular progress reports for clients and senior management.
Document lessons learned and project close-out reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the ICI construction sector.
- Proven track record in managing new builds, renovations, and fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
