Par son expérience et ses capacités de coordination, il ou elle contribue à la réalisation des objectifs opérationnels et promotionnels.

Principales tâches et responsabilités- Assurer la coordination et l’encadrement quotidiens de toutes les activités et les employés de l’équipe de design (team leader);
- Assurer le respect et le maintien des échéanciers des projets pour l’équipe de design;
- Agir à titre de point de contact principal pour l’équipe de design lors de chaque phase de développement (idéation, prototypage, résolution de problématique, mise en production, etc.);
- Analyser les concepts mécaniques pour optimiser les aspects structurels;
- Participer à la conception et l’adaptation des sous-ensembles et leurs composantes spécifiquement aux cahiers des charges (contraintes de coût, de design, mécaniques, etc.) ;
- Produire des dessins d’atelier CAD sur SOLIDWORKS;
- Concevoir les dessins 3D et 2D des pièces mécaniques pour le développement de produit (Solidworks / Sketchup);
- Travailler étroitement avec les départements de R&D, de la production et du marketing;
- Collaborer à la réalisation de dessins de fabrication et de documents relatifs à la mise en production des produits;
- Garder à jour les fichiers, notice d’installation et divers documents de travail;
- Assurer le contrôle, la validation et le maintien du BOM (nomenclatures) en cours de développement et durant la vie du produit;
- Réaliser de la modélisation 3D pour l’explication des produits (notice d’installation) et autre document de formation;
- Collaborer avec les ingénieurs à l’élaboration des fichiers de découpes numériques & plans de fabrication;
- Collaborer à l’amélioration continue des produits et à la gestion des changements d’ingénierie (DCI);
- Supporter l’équipe du marketing avec la conception d’espace showroom ainsi que des kiosques pour les différentes foires ou événements promotionnels;
- Effectuer toute autre tâche nécessaire au bon fonctionnement de l’entreprise.
- Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en dessin industriel, conception mécanique ou l’équivalent;
- Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience pertinente;
- Expérience en gestion d’équipe;
- Expérience en milieu manufacturier (un atout);
- Maîtrise du français parlé et écrit;
- Bonne connaissance de l’anglais parlé et écrit (niveau intermédiaire);
- Avoir un leadership mobilisateur et d’excellentes capacités de communication;
- Posséder des capacités d’andragogie et de transfert de connaissances;
- Lecture et compréhension de dessins de construction;
- Logiciels utilisés: AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, SKETCHUP, CREO;
- Intérêt pour le design et l’architecture contemporain.
