Position Overview:
The Global IT PMO Project Lead, a key member of the Global Application team, is responsible for driving and delivering global application projects. The primary focus of the Global IT PMO Project Lead will be the global implementation of Oracle Fusion. Working closely with Functional Business Leads to ensure successful project planning, execution, and completion, you will be involved in defining project objectives, ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle, and actively engaging with the system to configure settings, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing post-implementation support. With a focus on maximizing the benefits of IT system investments, the PMO Project Lead must possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strategy & Planning
- In collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, define the project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria that align with business goals.
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to identify and resolve any issues related to business, financial, and operational requirements and systems goals.
- Set and manage expectations with team members and stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Determine project team's report frequency and content and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and create a recommendation report.
- Develop and follow best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Estimate the necessary resources and participants to achieve project goals and assess the need for additional staff and consultants.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes if required.
- Collaborate in planning, designing, developing, and deploying new applications and enhancements to existing ones.
- Research software and hardware products to support purchasing efforts and justify recommendations based on research findings.
Operational Management
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths, ensuring internal general controls are considered throughout project life cycles following change management processes.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, presentations, and other related project reports.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the project's success.
Role Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in the field of business administration, management information systems or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of Oracle Fusion implementation experience (must have)
- PMP Certification - asset
- ITIL Foundations Certification -asset
- Global travel, 40%
