Your New Company:
Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a regulator organization in Calgary, AB. We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join their team immediately. This is a 6-month contract. You will be working full-time, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) and after training, there is flexibility to work partially remote.
Your New Role:
You will provide front-line customer support for day-to-day operations on Canadian assets. Your duties will include:
• Process nominations, confirmations and other daily scheduling tasks
• Work with customers to resolve nomination errors
• Confirm with interconnecting operators and resolve imbalances
• Identify opportunities for customers to reduce costs
• Train customers in nominations
• Respond to customer scheduling inquiries
• Provide detailed monthly reports to government bodies and regulators
• Work with I.T. partners to ensure reliable e-commerce tools; resolve systems problems that
arise
• Manage the day to day operational relationship with customers
What you'll need to succeed:
• Two or more years of related industry or scheduling experience Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with analytical tools (spreadsheets) and presentation software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent telephone skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to create effective solutions
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines
• Proficiency with computers and computer applications
What you'll get in return:
You will be working a 6-Month contract. You will receive full-time hours, Monday-Friday. You will work on a hybrid basis. You will receive a competitive hourly rate. There is a potential to extend this contract.
