Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive analysis and actionable recommendations to resolve business and operational challenges.
- Work with and lead cross-functional teams to drive initiatives focusing on delivering improved business results and exceptional customer outcomes.
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
- Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate stakeholders and partners.
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and provide resolution through analysis to make strategic and/or tactical recommendations.
- Manage/coordinate project reporting and key performance indicators.
- Communicate the status of applicable strategic and tactical projects to various levels of the senior leadership team, front-line managers, and front-line team members.
- Maintain repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the organization's standards.
- Provide business analysis expertise to identify, plan, and execute key business improvements to automate processes, drive strategic transformational change, and enhance the customer experience.
- Analyze and assess potential system enhancements and put together robust business requirements identifying required changes, desired outcomes, and potential benefits.
- Be an advocate of change.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years business analysis experience.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, process roadblocks, and develop effective solutions.
- High proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office suite (Outlook, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Capable of understanding business concepts and conducting independent research to define business requirements.
- Strong analytical ability with keen attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Skilled in identifying inefficiencies, overcoming obstacles, and developing effective solutions.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving objectives.

Top Skills Necessary
- Business Analysis - 5+ years of experience facilitating collaborative sessions with diverse business and technology stakeholder groups to drive both business and systems requirements, process mapping, and process development (as is/to be), change management, creation of user guides/procedures, and creating and supporting user training.
- Core Banking lending project experience – Have acted as a Business Analyst on at least 2 core banking lending projects, this will include any projects related to payments, cards, lending, loans, lines of credit, mortgages and will have an aspect of implementing regulatory compliance for project deliverables, ensuring alignment with regulatory bodies for financial institutions.
- Automation experience – Have acted as a Business Analyst of at least 1 project that aimed to automate manual processes including creating diagram process activities, mapping data flows, and/or API calls.
