Job Description

As Financial Controller, you will shape financial strategies, manage complex reporting processes, and lead initiatives to optimize our financial systems. You will guide daily financial operations, oversee payroll for a portfolio of properties, and ensure rigorous compliance with standards. You will lead the review of financial documents, approve requisitions and payments, and provide strategic oversight across accounts receivable, accounts payable and cashiering functions.

You'll be instrumental in managing annual budgets, driving financial forecasts, and ensuring accurate statutory reporting. Your leadership will inspire your team, foster a culture of excellence, and drive continuous innovation and improvements. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make a significant impact within a global leader in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce or similar
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and statutory responsibilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software; experience with TimeTarget, WageEASY, PurchasePlus, and Sun would be beneficial (but not required)
  • Thorough understanding of tax, superannuation, long service leave, and National Employment Standards.
  • Relevant State Police Check required.
