Job Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect automobile body damage to identify the exact extent of all damage
  2. Review estimates with insurance adjuster to gain repair and replacement approval
  3. Document approved repair and replacement services required by creating work orders in the work management software
  4. Work closely with repair technicians to discuss repair plans, clarify any technical aspects, and ensure accurate estimates
  5. Maintain body shop records by recording all repair and replacement actions in the work management software
  6. Stay updated on industry standards, repair techniques, and advancements in automotive technology to make informed assessments

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years experience in a Body Shop environment
  2. Unrestricted driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions
  3. Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
  4. Self-driven to work independently and the ability to work effectively and collaborate with a team
  5. Advanced decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  6. Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset but not mandatory
