Position Overview: As our Wholesale Expansion Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving our expansion by identifying and securing new wholesale accounts with restaurants, cafes, and other bakeries across Vancouver. This role requires a dynamic individual who can not only maintain excellent customer relationships but also strategically enhance our reach through meaningful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scout and secure new partnership opportunities with local dining and retail establishments for our wholesale delivery program.
  • Develop and refine marketing materials; provide feedback and suggestions to enhance sales tools and account acquisition efforts.
  • Help create and manage social media posts and newsletters to engage our audience and promote new offers.
  • Coordinate logistics to optimize delivery routes in line with partner requirements, and occasionally assist with deliveries.
  • Attend industry conventions and travel as needed to foster and secure new business relationships.
  • Work flexibly, including weekends and travel when necessary, to meet business goals and event schedules.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in food products or retail.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience in creating marketing materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to meet sales goals.
  • A deep passion for food, especially baking, and community building.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility for occasional travel and weekend work.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from CAD $40,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Additional commission based on the number of new accounts secured and overall sales volume increase.
  • Full reimbursement for all business-related travel expenses, including per diems for meals and accommodations.
  • Employee discounts on our delicious baked goods.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position with the need for flexibility in hours, including weekends and travel for industry-related events.
