Job Duties
- Uses different data warehousing concepts to maintain the operational data store and data warehouse.
- Design, develop, automate, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.
- Translates data access, transformation, and movement requirements into functional requirements and mapping designs.
- Works closely with DBAs and systems administrators to release changes into quality and production environments.
- Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, store and process data from multiple sources.
- Extract, transform and load data from source systems to Azure Data Storage Services using a combination of Azure Data Factory, T-SQL, Spark SQL, and U-SQL Azure Data Lake Analytics.
- Data ingestion in one or more Azure Services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure SQL and Azure DW) and processing data into Azure Databricks.
- Develop and maintain data models to support data analysis and reporting.
- A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the data warehousing architecture and concepts as well as ETL standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience with Data Integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS; understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience using deployment frameworks to promote artifacts from development to production.
- Experience working with building operational data stores and data warehouses using Oracle, SQL Server, or any other traditional databases.
- Experience automating, monitoring, and migrating jobs in different environments using AutoSys, Control-M, CA Workload Automation, or any other scheduling tool.
- Experience working with any of the leading cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
