Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are in search of a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Pointe-Claire site. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and interact successfully with multiple functions. We are looking for a team member with strong experience supporting manufacturing sites, and with the ability to maintain the highest level of information security and confidentiality. Great attitude, self-motivated, positive, takes initiative, and can make decisions. This role will also support, as needed, HR initiatives/projects impacting our Merrimack, NH site.

In this role you will get to:
- Assist in communicating and applying company policies and procedures & promote a deeper understanding within the site.
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process for the site open positions and perform the full life cycle of recruiting activities including sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, and providing follow-through with candidates.
- Manage and update job descriptions for the site: assist in classifying positions as needed.
- Ensure proper administration of annual performance reviews and merit increase cycle.
- Assist with discipline procedures and termination process to ensure all employees are treated fairly.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian Labor Law, and risk avoidance.
- Develop and organize staff training sessions, workshops, and other activities as needed.
- Manage site’s new employee on-boarding activities: answer employee questions and provide support to mangers when integrating new hires into the organization.
- Familiar with benefit programs details and effectively respond to any benefits related concerns.
- Responsible for maintaining employee records (i.e., new hire, termination, change of status)
- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
- Support company’s recognition program and practices. Manage recognition activities locally when applicable.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
3 years of experience in HR Generalist work.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Full proficiency in English and French, including engaging with candidates, employees, and the community in writing, is required.
Exhibit high level of professional conduct, integrity, and accountability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems.
