Senior Operations Administrator – Path to Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Administrator to join our team, with a clear path to managing the operations team. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in the investment industry, strong technological proficiency, and the ability to work with portfolio management systems and CRMs.


Position Summary & Key Accountabilities:

As a Senior Operations Administrator, you will play a critical role in our day-to-day operations and have the opportunity to grow into an Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing operations and ensuring efficiency in workflows.
  • Managing and overseeing data entry with accuracy.
  • Filling out forms and applications required for investment operations.
  • Generating reports and updating internal systems.
  • Assisting clients, accountants, and portfolio managers as needed.
  • Performing basic accounting tasks in Excel.
  • Answering phones, greeting clients, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Troubleshooting technological issues and implementing system improvements.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the investment industry is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with operational workflows.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management systems and CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional Excel skills and strong data entry accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • Ability to learn and implement new systems efficiently.
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Team player with a positive attitude.


Remuneration:

  • To be negotiated according to experience and commensurate with industry standards.
