Job Summary:

The Bilingual Office Administrator will play a key role in maintaining efficient office procedures and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and French, possess strong administrative skills, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and organize office files, records, and documentation.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in both English and French.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.

Accounting Assistance:

  • Assist with invoicing, billing, and data entry tasks.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients in both English and French.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally.

Office Coordination:

  • Ensure the office environment is organized and well-maintained.
  • Handle office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Support the accounting department with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an office administrator or in a similar administrative role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or accounting is a plus.
