A career as an Operations Agent at National Bank, you will capitalize on your ability to work in synergy with clients and your colleagues. In this role, you will support members of your team by carrying out administrative tasks in accordance with Bank policies, standards, and procedures.

Your job:

  • Warmly welcome clients to the branch and direct them to the right resource person .
  • Provide top-quality customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Help the assistant or branch assistant, as needed.
  • Make daily bank deposits and submit accounts payable.
  • Carry out daily administrative activities (mail, distribute and file documents, order supplies, manage conference room reservations, etc.).
  • Be responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations for the Regional Directorate
  • Coordinate and/or help organize different events for the region
  • Communicate with all regional staff and partners
  • Be agile by adapting quickly to different changes

More specifically:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the regional management team.
  • Agenda: Scheduling and management, organization of meetings,
  • Concur, bill payment, flight booking and hotel room,
  • Management of the management's shared mailbox (approval, signature, follow-ups)
  • Distribution and maintenance of tickets for all events (hockey/ football/tennis/F1 / box etc)
  • Responsible for regional communications (newsletter, presentation, others)
  • Ready to lend a hand in various events or projects with colleagues and partners from other business lines
  • Provide replacement at the reception of the two branches in the region if necessary.

You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors.

Prerequisites:

  • College diploma in Administration or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience working in financial services, an asset
  • Have completed, or will work toward completing, the Canadian Securities Course after being hired, desirableGood knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail
