Your Opportunity: As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing and maintaining positive, multi-faceted relationships with patients and medical clinics throughout Alberta.

Job Duties:

  1. Greeting all patients and ensuring excellent customer service is maintained.
  2. Creating and maintaining up-to-date patient charts.
  3. Working closely with one physician.
  4. Sanitization of waiting rooms, exam rooms, and work space.
  5. Maintaining patient confidentiality.
  6. Other administrative duties as assigned.

Your Skills:

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Medical Office Assistant Diploma or Unit Clerk Certificate - a plus.
  3. Experience with Microsoft Office.
  4. Experience with EMR system(s) - a plus.
  5. Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  6. Excellent customer service with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  7. Strong communication skills.
  8. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
