Overview
Working closely with the end Customer, vendors, and project personnel, the Senior ADMS Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of a new Advanced Distribution Management System within our Client’s territory. The Senior ADMS Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project lifecycle, including assembling and managing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of the project. In addition, you must exercise judgment, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
The Sr. ADMS Project Manager will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain. The Sr. ADMS Project Manager should have in-depth knowledge of any of the major SCADA/ADMS systems including: OSI/AspenTech, GE, ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Survalent.
Responsibilities
- Deliver this project to completion, owning the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project, managing multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions.
- Strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins.
- The entire project team will report to you, and you will be responsible for assigning work, monitoring, and measuring the team’s outputs, and requesting the replacement of resources that are not performing to required levels.
- You will be TRC’s representative, ensuring that the Client and TRC's interests are well aligned for the success of the project.
- Manage the Vendors, ensuring that the contractual, operational, and relationship aspects are well aligned for the success of the project.
- Act as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget.
- Develop workflow plans to manage the project from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production and client migration.
- Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step.
- Prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan.
- Report on project status and analyze progress relative to project milestones.
- Maintain forecasts to assure that schedule compliance and desired results are achieved.
- Utilize project management methodologies and practices such as task and quality management, project estimation, manpower and budget planning, modeling techniques and attendant tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain.
- Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment.
- The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C-Level to multiple technical teams.
- Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent team building and motivational skills.
- Excellent budgeting and financial skills.
- Proficiency with MS-Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Must have strong judgment, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of successfully implementing large SCADA, EMS or ADMS programs.
- PMP Certification.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
