We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team here at The Vancouver Club. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will use your creative and analytical skills plus a passion for storytelling to communicate the Club experience to existing members, potential members and private clients. You will collaborate with the award-winning Vancouver Club team to grow the Club’s brand and expand its messaging to our digital audiences while ensuring a consistent look and feel of The Vancouver Club brand across all digital channels. This role requires a flexible work schedule to be maintained, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Alongside the Manager, analyze and understand the customer's journey and digital touchpoints to optimize new membership leads.
  • In conjunction with the Manager, develop and execute creative strategies to deliver the Vancouver Club brand message.
  • Develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies that meet predetermined KPIs.
  • Monthly reporting on KPIs.
  • Create and manage a monthly content calendar.
  • Content creation, including content for website, social media, email, and print.
  • Work with creative teams for the development of content including photography, graphic design, and videography.
  • Stay on top of digital marketing trends to introduce new and cutting-edge strategies.
  • Work with the Member Events team to advertise on-property events to members.
  • Work closely with other departments to share the USP of the Vancouver Club with the general public.
  • Design a wide variety of print and digital collateral in support of department projects and events.
  • Perform all other duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Formal education in digital marketing preferred
  • Previous marketing and social media experience, preferably with private clubs, hospitality or luxury brands
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
  • Experience with WordPress or similar software
  • Experience with email marketing software
  • Photography skills are a plus
  • Ability to interact and build strong relationships with diverse groups
  • Must have a professional appearance and manner, a gracious attitude and the ability to interact with diverse groups as well as the ability to build strong relationships within the Club and community
  • Will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
