Your Opportunity

BDO is looking for a full-time permanent Dynamics Business Central Developer to join our client-facing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV Consulting Practice, with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Canada. Your sound technical and business knowledge will ensure that we continue to effectively deliver exceptional service to our broad client base. While this is an entry level role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to augment their skills for possible future transition into a senior developer role. This is a great opportunity for a recent grad with less than 2 years of experience.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with function consultants in business requirement gathering activities
  • Collaborate with senior developers to analyze business requirements and develop technical design
  • Create/maintain technical design documents
  • Develop, test, and deploy customizations/integrations

  • You will understand the industries BDO services and contribute to the group's advancement
  • You will ensure work is complete, accurate and appropriately reviewed by maintaining the necessary technical knowledge and professional development
  • You will recommend and implement quality or efficiency improvements to our engagements
  • You will actively engage in communication with people leaders to ensure understanding of performance and development, while identifying and attracting top talent
  • You will support our firm's revenue growth by referring clients to other services lines and new clients to BDO

Your experience and education

  • University degree or college diploma in information technology or business
  • Experience with data conversion or integration an asset
  • Experience with software development tools or languages an asset
  • Possess or plan to obtain Microsoft certification(s)
  • Proficient communication skills (oral and written)
  • Experience with database systems such as SQL Server or SQL Express is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP software considered an asset
