Must-Haves

  • Hands-on experience with molecular engineering tools, including molecular cloning, nucleic acid analysis, and protein expression.
  • Demonstrated experience in mammalian cell culture (e.g., SF9, CHO, Vero).
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques, such as virus titration assays, FACS, protein assays, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and HPLC.
  • Knowledge and experience in bioprocessing methods and process scale-up.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with attention to detail and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical analysis software (JMP, GraphPad Prism).
  • Educational background: PhD with 1+ years’ experience or MSc with 3+ years’ experience in Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, or Biochemistry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global Antigen Design team to screen vaccine candidates, design molecular constructs, and conduct genetic stability testing.
  • Lead and support upstream process optimization, working with technologies like AMBR high-throughput bioreactors and small-to-pilot scale bioreactors.
  • Perform or coordinate analytical testing (e.g., viral titration, FACS, protein assays) to support process development.
  • Conduct statistical data analysis, prepare technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process characterization studies using Design of Experiments (DoE) methodology and facilitate tech transfer to clinical manufacturing teams.
  • Support digital initiatives, such as AI integration, and ensure compliance with GxP quality standards, documentation, and HSE policies.
