Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor
Company: Pet Valu Marion
Location: 27 Marion Street, Winnipeg, MB
Salary: $15.30 to $30.30 hourly (To be negotiated) / 15 to 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Part-time work leading to full-time work. Flexible hours including Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, and Early Morning shifts.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Teach interest or professional development courses
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Sell merchandise
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers (11-15 people)
- Supervision of retail salespersons and sales clerks
