Job Description:

Professor of Cardiovascular Perfusion is an exciting opportunity to deliver a high-quality educational experience to future perfusionists. Successful candidates will assume a leadership role in all aspects of program design, assessment, evaluation and continuous quality improvement.


Specifics:

  • Part-time contract position, Monday - Friday daytime hours
  • Onsite teaching at Michener's Simulation Laboratory, with some online instruction
  • Hourly rate $150/hour


Qualifications:

  • Perfusionist with a minimum of 2-3 years of current clinical experience preferred
  • Certified by the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP) or American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
  • Masters level education in a discipline-relevant field is preferred
  • Membership in a relevant professional association.
