Overview:
Our client is looking to add a skilled Test Lead to their amazing team.

What you will be doing:

  • Defining a comprehensive testing strategy engaging vendor, program team and business stakeholders in validation activities;
  • Defining comprehensive test cases for key functionalities of the 3rd party systems being implemented by the program (SS&C Aloha and Salentica) and other systems (i.e. OKTA SSO, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Conquest);
  • Leading and performing validation activities which may include, but not limited to:
    • Functional Testing
    • System Integration Testing
    • UAT validation (including the engagement of multiple business stakeholders and coordinating the day in the life test scenarios for different stakeholder groups)
    • End-to-End Validation (multiple systems integrated)
  • Coordinating the identification, reporting and tracking of defects until closure for the program team and the vendor team in the org's approved testing tools (i.e. Zephyr, Jira);
  • Providing regular status updates about # of test cases created, # of test cases executed, # of test cases blocked, # of test cases passed, # of test cases failed, key defects by severity etc.;

What you must have:

  • Background/experience in Wealth Management;
  • Experience with one of the following Portfolio Management Systems: GWP, Harmony, and/or Aloha (ideally, more than one of these systems – we may consider experience with other portfolio management systems, but our preference is for the ones listed here);
  • Experience with CRM tools (preferably SS&C Salentica or Salesforce);
  • Experience with Portfolio Management System migration programs (this is more than just data migration from system A to B, but validating the functionalities in the new system and ensuring they meet the business needs);
  • Experience conducting all the activities described above for similar programs in other Wealth management firms;
  • Very technical and hands-on;
  • VERY detail-oriented – someone who really validates the information we are getting from the business, from the team and from the vendor and asks questions to ensure that no surprises come later;
  • Excellent communication with people of all levels, including technical and non-technical resources.
