The Restaurant Area Manager duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the operation of approximately 10 restaurants.
- Managing the staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant targets and standards.
- Coaching the staff to provide excellent customer service representative of the A&W brand.
- Identifying areas of improvement and opportunity specific to individual restaurants under your control.
- Managing budgetary inquiries and understanding the budgeting process.
- Monitoring and controlling labor costs and food and waste costs.
- Leading the staff to achieve service times and working as a part of the team.
- Spending a reasonable amount of time every shift on the floor supporting and working with employees.
- Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed.
- Hiring, retaining, and terminating employees as well as training managers.
- Other duties which involve the day-to-day operation of a fast food restaurant.
- Multi-unit restaurant management experience - two years or more.
- Quick service restaurant experience preferred.
- Driver's license.
- Food handling certificate.
