As the Client Project Manager, you are responsible for contributing to client satisfaction by effectively driving client/Element projects that have financial and operational impact, setting appropriate expectations and delivering agreed upon results on time and without service interruption.

A Day in the Life

  • Oversee the execution of Fleet Related Projects for Element & their clients within an assigned portfolio:

    • Adjust strategy/approach based on observed results; identify cross functional process linkages and facilitate coordination and improvements.

    • Ensure compliance to project deliverables, standard operating procedures, business practices, compliance and/or regulatory requirements.

    • Perform call facilitation, follow-up, and validation for task execution; troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure timely execution.

    • Responsible to identify and prevent risks to impact the project’s execution.

    • Record project progress and provide proactive report-outs to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work side by side with the business leaders within Client and Element Account Management Team to identify and define new initiatives.

  • Work with Element Strategic Consulting Services and Account Management Teams to provide fleet analytics to aid in fleet decision making and project work.

  • Recommend adjustments to the Client’s fleet policy to maximize the fleet’s efficiency and profitability, ideally reducing the Client’s liability exposure while adhering to fleet industry best practices. This includes vehicle acquisition, maintenance and remarketing as determined by cost effective life cycle analysis.

  • Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Client personnel as necessary to provide effective fleet management services to Client and to provide recommendations for improvements in Client’s fleet policy, and its management and administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.

  • Experience in leasing industry, specifically in financial services, operations or customer service desired.

  • Project management experience (2+ years).

  • Demonstrated change management experience, managing work teams and/or driving cross-functional activities.

  • Strong people leadership skills: coaching, team building, managing through change, facilitation and influencing, relationship building.

  • General business knowledge and skills; good financial knowledge.

  • Strong PC proficiency (including Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and project management software).
