What will you do?

The Project Manager has direct contact with clients and works to provide client satisfaction by ensuring the client's project needs are met. This position is also accountable for accurate project invoicing and profitability and provides direct supervision and mentoring of project staff.

This position is responsible for the following tasks and duties:

  1. Managing and coordinating the multi-disciplinary engineering work in accordance with the project's scope, schedule, and procedures.
  2. Ensuring quality requirements are met through the development and implementation of quality plans.
  3. Acting as liaison between the factory, engineering team, and customers to handle technical inquiries and change orders.
  4. Implementing and monitoring change management requirements.
  5. Implementing and utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and procedures while overseeing the overall delivery of projects.
  6. Working with the client to ensure the objective, scope, and deliverables for the project are clearly defined.
  7. Maintaining effective and continuous communication with the entire project team.
  8. Analyzing technical specifications, tender documents, and proposals to develop detailed work scopes and drawings.
  9. Approving and issuing purchase orders on behalf of Schneider Electric and clients.
  10. Actively participating in QMS and HSE programs.
  11. Using the required processes and procedures to execute work.
  12. Reporting any existing or potential safety and QMS nonconformities to a supervisor, Quality Manager, or HSE Coordinator.
  13. Maintaining a clean work area through daily housekeeping, as required.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  1. Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline.
  2. PMP certified or working progress to obtain the certification (preferred).
  3. 7+ years of professional experience in project management or evidence of project management capabilities deemed appropriate for this position.
  4. Working with a team and clients on resolving technical and quality control issues and on ensuring the execution and integrity of engineering designs.
  5. Adapting to changing work priorities, effectively multitasking, and responding quickly to urgent analysis requests.
  6. Adopting a solutions-driven approach.
  7. Ability to generate and foster client relationships while working in a fast-paced and competitive business environment.
  8. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  9. Strong attention to detail.
