We are seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Assessor to join our team in Calgary. The Vehicle Assessor is responsible for the hands-on support of all fleet maintenance activities at the branch.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles upon check-in, documenting any visible damage with photos.
  • Place rental agreements on pending status when services are required and mark vehicles for post-rental inspection.
  • Create work orders detailing damage or customer complaints.
  • Identify units that need staging for vendor movement in our system.
  • Manage the vendor check-in and check-out processes, including vehicle pickups post-maintenance.
  • Create and install barcode stickers for efficient vehicle tracking.
  • Ensure rental vehicles meet customer specifications and are properly rigged.
  • Oversee vehicle registration and ensure compliance with Driving Force Decal procedures.
  • Assist in annual vehicle audits and support the Branch Manager in preparing vehicles for sale.
  • Manage the ordering of new license plates and maintain an inventory of unused equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure fire extinguishers in vehicles are current and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Rentals department for license plate renewals and order rental supplies as needed.
  • Handle the full rental process, including opening agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Work with the company’s wholesale department on logistics for de-fleeted units as required.


What You Bring

  • Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in customer service and automotive industry considered an asset.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with others
  • Strong written communication, ability to summarize, and document.
  • Effective in a role that emphasizes observing, inquiring, assessing and making decisions following company guidelines and policies.
