User Interface Designer

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating mockups to present to teams, collecting feedback and creating a quality piece of work. This individual should be comfortable with building sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes to provide to project manners and inevitably execute based on outlined criteria. This candidate should have strong creative and design skills and be familiar with various design technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of our users.
  • Play a key role in driving the design direction for the software applications.
  • Create elegant, accessible, and intuitive prototypes and designs that align with the company's brand, product vision, and desired user experience.
  • Apply WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), including contrast minimums, text resizing, and screen reader semantics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and user needs.
  • Generate UX/UI solutions through analysis based on design thinking and research methodologies.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the APP design systems and principles.
  • Maintain an open mind toward new ideas and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and industry best practices, and share knowledge within the team.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX designing cross-platform software applications.
  • Experience in developing and delivering app designs for iOS and Android.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects, emphasizing user-centered design principles and problem-solving.
  • A user-centered design mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in prototyping.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
  • Ability to thrive in a hyper-growth environment, with the capacity to work independently and deliver high-quality work efficiently.
  • Experience in ROI-driven A/B testing is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, industry tools, and emerging UI/UX technologies.
