Wiseworth Canada Industries is seeking a dedicated and versatile IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our IT infrastructure, enhancing software systems, and ensuring the seamless operation of our technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks across various IT-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware and Software Procurement:
    • Order IT hardware and software for new and existing employees.
    • Manage and track inventory of IT assets, ensuring timely replacements and upgrades.
    • Coordinate with vendors to source and purchase necessary IT equipment.
  2. Software Enhancement and Integration:
    • Assist with the enhancement, integration, and deployment of software platforms such as Bluelink, Microsoft Dynamics, ZoomInfo, and FieldServio.
    • Provide technical support for software-related issues and work with vendors to resolve them.
    • Ensure all software updates and patches are applied in a timely manner.
  3. Wiseworth Safety Compliance and Care Program Support:
    • Update and enhance the SiteDocs system as part of the Wiseworth Health and Safety Care Program.
    • Provide ongoing support for any IT-related aspects of the program, including troubleshooting and system optimization.
    • Assist with safety-related ePortals.
  4. Website Development and Marketing Support:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with website development and maintenance.
    • Support the integration of digital marketing tools and platforms.
    • Provide technical assistance for any IT-related marketing initiatives.
  5. General IT Support:
    • Respond to IT support requests from staff, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity.
    • Provide training to staff on new software and IT processes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • 3-5 years experience as an IT support specialist in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and network systems.
  • A process improvement mindset.
  • Experience with software platforms such as Bluelink, Microsoft Dynamics, ZoomInfo, FieldServio, and SiteDocs.
  • The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
  • Familiarity with website development and digital marketing tools is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Time management skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively in order to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines.
  • No criminal record.
  • High level of integrity and ethical values.
  • This position is based out of our office located in Surrey, BC.
