Job Description

Summary:

As the Restaurant Manager for the signature food and beverage outlet at Delano Dubai, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations with a focus on delivering sophisticated, luxury service and maintaining the high standards associated with our signature concept. Your role will involve managing a team, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring an exclusive and memorable dining experience for our distinguished guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service and adherence to the sophisticated standards of Delano Dubai. Oversee opening and closing procedures, staff rotations, and overall operational efficiency.
  2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant staff. Foster a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and encouraging professional development.
  3. Guest Experience: Deliver an exceptional and discreet dining experience. Monitor service quality, address guest feedback and complaints with tact, and personalize service to exceed expectations.
  4. Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the restaurant’s budget, including cost control and revenue generation. Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to drive profitability and operational improvements.
  5. Menu Management: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus that reflect the signature concept and high-end dining experience. Ensure food quality and presentation are consistently impeccable.
  6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering and stock management. Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste through efficient practices.
  7. Marketing and Promotion: Strategize and implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant. Develop promotional events, seasonal menus, and partnerships to attract and retain high-profile guests.
  8. Customer Relations: Build and nurture relationships with high-profile and regular guests. Tailor experiences to individual preferences and provide personalized service.
  9. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal and company policies, including licensing requirements, labor laws, and service standards.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: Extensive experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a luxury or high-end restaurant environment. Proven track record of managing exclusive and sophisticated dining operations.
  2. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving excellence. Experience in training and developing staff to maintain high service standards.
  3. Operational Acumen: Deep understanding of restaurant operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions, within a luxury setting.
  4. Financial Management: Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  5. Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a keen ability to provide personalized service and handle high-profile guest interactions discreetly and professionally.
  6. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
