About the role:

Samsara is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Strategy Manager to partner with our Supply Chain Operations organization. You will partner with business leaders to set and achieve corporate goals, drive quantitative and qualitative investigations to inform strategic choices, and identify optimization opportunities.

This is a remote position based in Canada.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with leaders across our Supply Chain Operations teams to manage our hardware spend and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop financial models to provide accurate short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Build scalable processes and mechanisms to enhance financial visibility and planning effectiveness.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7+ years of experience in Corporate Finance and strategic finance experience.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong accounting knowledge with experience working closely with accounting teams.
  • Excellent evaluation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience in the physical goods industry is highly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to build new financial processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment with high degrees of ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience working with large datasets and technical data management skills.
