We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supply chain management, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a keen business sense. In this role, you will be responsible for supply planning and inventory purchases. You will utilize continuous improvement principles to achieve key performance indicators, update Supply Chain Management with long-term supply volumes in line with business growth expectations, and drive cost-to-service efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Planning and Purchasing: Responsible for production planning, purchasing, materials management, and logistics coordination.
  2. Logistics Efficiency: Minimize logistics expenses while maximizing customer fill rates.
  3. Supplier Management: Maintain scorecards for relevant suppliers (local and global) in key categories such as quality, delivery, and cost.
  4. Inventory Management: Work with other departments to minimize obsolete and/or discontinued inventories.
  5. Strategic Initiatives: Identify opportunities and lead strategic initiatives and optimization projects across our logistics and fulfillment operations.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and support company objectives.
  9. Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
  10. Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Implement lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: BS degree in Business or a College Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain/Sourcing focus and/or professional designation in Supply Chain or Operations.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a proven track record of performance in supply chain, operations, and continuous improvement.
  3. Strong Excel skills required.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  8. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  9. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
