We are currently seeking a Business Development and Solutions Manager to maximize growth and advance market share for the Samsung brand. This position will have a thorough understanding of the B2B market, carrier B2B structure both direct and authorized resellers (dealers) and will manage relationships and drive sales nationally. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, B2B Sales Strategy and Solutions, is responsible for executing B2B sales and Knox product solution sales and support. Managing an up-to-date B2B funnel, making sales presentations, and managing carrier B2B relationships in the field across all carrier channels.
What you’re responsible for:- Responsible for management and sales success of Samsung products and solutions within the Carrier B2B sales channels (SMB, Commercial, Public, and Dealer).
- Present, support and act as prime contact for all Knox Solutions sold and deployed through carrier.
- Build effective partnerships with carrier and channel partners (Sales Managers, Account reps, Dealer Sales Managers, Dealer sales reps, Knox Product Management) to develop new sales opportunities and influence customer adoption of Samsung products and solutions.
- Provide Sales Engineering support on pre-sales technical support and training to the sales teams and end customers as required to win new accounts and grow sales funnel.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales funnels and provide status reports.
- Attain all objectives assigned to account opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Perform product presentations, both new product introductions and present product offerings to Customers and prospects as prescribed by the Company sales guidelines.
- Manage the funnel development for the specific carrier.
- Roll up all activity and provide assessment of quarterly projections of revenue and units on a monthly basis.
- Accountable for assigned geographic territory, sellers and strategic partners.
- Work independently and/or travel 30% of the time. Travel when required and as needed to support and drive Samsung sales in assigned national market (Sales Meetings, Sales kickoffs, Customer presentations).
- Train and coach carrier retail national retail sales reps, as well as provide sales support through offering business advice and product consultation.
- Ensure Samsung product stock levels and merchandising requirements meet product demand and escalate issues directly to Samsung to rectify.
- Support Samsung marketing and brand initiatives through maintaining direct contact with distribution points of sale in market.
- Resolve issues that affect Samsung brand integrity and brand presence.
- 5+ years in Business Sales preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in the wireless industry.
- Bilingual (French/English) – Excellent written and oral skills.
- Proven selling ability.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in organizations: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly self-motivated and capable of self-directed work given only broad objectives and limited direct supervision.
- Must be capable of planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.
- Comfortable explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
