Yardi Business Systems Analyst

Our client has an immediate opening for an Yardi Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Vancouver to advance the organization’s management strategies by meeting the needs of various business units for project and process implementation including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
In your new role as an Yardi Business Systems Analyst, you will take full responsibility for business analysis during full-cycle implementation where, the advice given and decisions made, will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organization. You will help maximize the performance of the organization through the implementation of leading-edge tools and processes by analyzing user requirements, processes, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflow, and process limitations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and drive scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for enhancements and projects. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in the conduct of investigations for business requirements specifications, feasibility studies, and business case preparation. Challenge initiatives with business value in mind.
- Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project-related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders.
- Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide a framework to support end-user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate, support, and help business users resolve escalated support issues, including application software and operational systems when necessary.
- Engage proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance. Implement supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programs.
- Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize the use of the company’s Enterprise Applications.
- Create and foster a “customer-centric” culture in all team interactions.
- Assist with creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally in a complex real estate services environment.
- Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications.
- Experience with Yardi’s Voyager, Elevate, AB&F, and other applications would be an asset.
- Understanding of the real estate business and key business processes.
- Detail-oriented with superior documentation skills.
- Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices.
- Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and best practices.
- Change management experience is an asset.
- Process re-engineering experience is an asset.
- Adaptable to constant change.
- Ability to allocate time effectively, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects, and competing priorities.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
