SOMMAIRE

Lantic recrute actuellement pour le poste d’analyste financier corporatif au sein de son équipe des finances. L’analyste Financier – Corporatif joue un rôle clé au sein du département des finances en apportant son expertise en analyse financière, comptabilité et contrôle interne. Il contribue activement à l’examen des processus, à l’amélioration des contrôles et à la production d’informations financières stratégiques. Son esprit critique et analytique lui permet d’évaluer les implications des changements comptables et réglementaires, tout en assurant l’exactitude et la conformité des états financiers.


CE QUE VOUS FEREZ :

  • Évaluer l’impact des changements de règles comptables et assurer leur mise en application.
  • Effectuer la comptabilisation et l’analyse financière de la Société mère trimestriellement.
  • Préparer la documentation requise pour les déclarations fiscales de la Société.
  • Préparer de la documentation relative au renouvellement des assurances.
  • Élaborer et tester les rapports financiers, y compris la conception et l’exécution de rapports personnalisés.
  • Documenter et établir de nouveaux contrôles, au besoin, et effectuer les tests de contrôles clés sur une base trimestrielle.
  • Proposer des améliorations aux politiques et procédures actuelles.
  • Maintenir et surveiller les rabais volume et analyser les volumes de ventes.
  • Effectuer le suivi et la conciliation des IFRS 16 – Contrat de location, en s’assurant de la conformité avec les normes comptables
  • Contribuer à la préparation des états financiers des régimes de retraite et assister lors des audits de ceux-ci.
  • Aider le département des Finances dans la préparation des écritures de journal, des réconciliations et des rapports financiers mensuels.
  • Contribuer à la préparation des états financiers trimestriels et annuels, incluant la présentation des notes aux états financiers.
  • Participer à l'extraction d'informations financières provenant du système d'information de la Société aux fins d'audit.


CE QUE NOUS CHERCHONS :

  • Titre de CPA requis
  • Minimum de 3-5 ans d’expérience dans un poste de comptabilité similaire
  • Expérience en audit (un atout), ainsi qu’en résolution de problèmes et service à la clientèle
  • Excellente compréhension des processus comptables, des contrôles internes et des normes IFRS
  • Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et aisance avec les systèmes d’information (connaissance de Business Central est un atout)
  • Bonne compréhension des principes financiers et comptables.
  • Fortes capacités analytiques et esprit critique
  • Excellentes habiletés en gestion des priorités et capacité à mener plusieurs projets simultanément
  • Bon jugement, sens des affaires et autonomie dans la prise de décisions
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais), tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
  • Orienté vers les résultats et l’amélioration continue

SUMMARY

Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Corporate Financial Analyst within its Finance team. The Corporate Financial Analyst plays a key role within the Finance department, leveraging expertise in financial analysis, accounting, and internal controls. This role actively contributes to process reviews, control improvements, and the production of strategic financial information. With a strong analytical mindset, the analyst assesses the impact of accounting and regulatory changes while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL:

  • Assess the impact of accounting rule changes and ensure their implementation.
  • Perform the accounting and financial analysis of the parent company on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for the company’s tax filings.
  • Prepare documentation related to insurance renewals.
  • Develop and test financial reports, including the design and execution of customized reports.
  • Document and establish new controls as needed and perform quarterly key control testing.
  • Propose improvements to current policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track volume rebates and analyzes sales volumes.
  • Ensure the follow-up and reconciliation of IFRS 16 – Lease, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of pension plan financial statements and assist in their audits.
  • Support the Finance department in preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including note disclosures.
  • Participate in extracting financial data from the company’s information system for audit purposes.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM :

  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience in audit (an asset), as well as problem-solving and customer service.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and IFRS standards.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and ease with information systems (Business Central knowledge is an asset).
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Excellent ability to manage priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good judgment, business acumen, and the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.
  • Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
