Description du poste

Sous la responsabilité du superviseur mécanique, le mécanicien aura la responsabilité des activités suivantes :

Description des tâches

  • Vérifier et entretenir adéquatement les équipements mobiles ou à l’air (surface et sous-terre);
  • Installer de façon sécuritaire des appareils ou des équipements ;
  • Effectuer de la soudure de base et de l’oxycoupage au besoin ;
  • S’assurer du déroulement efficace et sécuritaire des activités reliées aux tâches ;
  • Collaborer étroitement avec tous les membres de l’équipe ;
  • Sécuriser son endroit de travail ;
  • Participer activement aux activités de prévention et aux formations ;
  • Compléter adéquatement les rapports journaliers et les bons de travail reliés aux tâches confiées ;
  • Respecter les lois, les règlements et les procédures de travail ;
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexe

Exigences d'emploi

  • DEP en mécanique d’engins de chantiers ou autre formation équivalente et expérience pertinente ;

  • Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en tant que mécanicien d'équipements mobiles et mécanicien Alimak, un atout ;

  • Certification modulaire du travailleur minier complétée (FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7) et Common core (Ontario);

  • Permis de conduire valide ;

  • Permis général d’explosifs valide ;

  • Connaissance informatique de base, un atout ;

  • Intérêt à travailler dans une région éloignée et dans un environnement multiculturel ;

  • Autonomie et débrouillardise ;

  • Capacité à travailler en équipe ;

  • Capacité à communiquer en français ou en anglais avec les membres de l’équipe.
