Our next colleague has what it takes :

  • University degree in operations management, business administration or related field. A Master's degree is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a company in the distribution industry
  • Expertise in process improvement and optimization
  • Knowledge of logistics, transport, product flow, inventory and product management

What is your role in the company :

As Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all of the company's day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in setting up and optimizing operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency and support the company's growth. You will work closely with other members of the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and achieve corporate objectives.

What you'll do :

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement continuous process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
  • Operations Planning and Management: Develop, implement and oversee operational processes to ensure business efficiency and productivity
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the company's operational projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operational performance and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and compliance standards in all company operations
  • Team Supervision: Lead, motivate and coach operational teams to ensure high performance and effective collaboration
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
