Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to drive product development and delivery.
  • Resource Management: Manage the budget and resources of the engineering department to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the engineering department.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Director of Engineering within Manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with 3D modeling software, experience in running R&D projects from start to finish, and knowledge of drafting software.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is preferred.
