Our Client is an established and innovative EdTech company delivering high-quality solutions for regulated compliance and licensing in the Financial sector.


The Role

As the Sr Manager, E-Learning, you'll be responsible for curating instructional assets for professional license certification programs as well as for developing new instructional content across multiple industries. In this role, you'll:

  • set the instructional design vision and provide daily direction to team members related to the design, construction, deployment and evaluation of online learning assets
  • recommend instructional design approaches, set targets, evaluate deliverables and report on project progress
  • promote innovation and best practices in the development of online courses and test items
  • be responsible for delivering end-to-end projects - from creating blueprints for course(s) through to posting on the Learning Management System (LMS)


Who You Are

  • You have a strong background in Instructional Design, with hands-on experience developing e-learning content and courses preferably in the area of Financial and compliance
  • You possess strong project management skills, and proficiency in using Project Management tools (ex Jira)
  • You have experience managing and mentoring direct reports


As Senior E-Learning Manager, you'll have the chance to use your:


Project Management Expertise to:

  • Scope out projects, estimate time requirements, and create project plans
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing the entire development cycle from start to finish
  • Ensure that projects meet expectations regarding schedule, budget, scope and quality through metrics and benchmarking


Instructional Design Proficiency to:

  • Incorporate accessibility and inclusive content design
  • Work with and leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS ex. Moodle) and other e-learning tools
  • Create storyboards, develop content, and ensure quality through reviewing and QA processes


Team Leadership and Management Experience to:

  • Manage a small team, including e-learning asset developers, content developers, and an e-learning administrator
  • Encourage and support team members to do their best work
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments, ensuring smooth collaboration and project progress


Technologically Savvy to:

  • Be comfortable with various e-learning and project management systems
  • Keep Up-to-date with state-of-the-art tools and platforms in the industry
  • Be able to adapt to and embrace new technologies and methodologies
