Marketing Manager – Guelph, ON Canada

What You’ll Do:

As Marketing Manager, you’ll power our growth performance through planning, executing, measuring and analyzing the impact of our marketing campaigns.

  • Define and develop exceptional marketing strategies and plans in alignment with our business objectives
  • Partner with external and internal teams to create go-to-market strategies and to craft messaging and communications in alignment with common goals
  • Create and plan our marketing calendar
  • Oversee and collaborate with executing event, digital, and print marketing initiatives including event displays, social media, corporate website, print and digital ads, email marketing, press releases, promotional swag, product photography, and video
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and communications deliverables that build positive brand awareness and align to operational and business objectives
  • Manage key relationships with distributor and technology partners
  • Create and execute technical and educational digital training activities such as industry webinars, keynote presentations, and training seminars
  • Write content that is engaging and targeting to our ideal customer profile to move buyers into the sales funnel
  • Manage members of the marketing team to ensure flawless execution of activities
  • Define, measure and report KPIs for marketing initiatives
  • Assess gaps and optimizing platforms
  • Travel for tradeshows as needed

You Possess:

  • Degree in business, marketing or communications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience and proven success in a fast-paced growing company
  • Direct experience in working in a technology company
  • Keen interest in and a desire to learn about technology, particularly in areas such as AI, machine learning, deep learning
  • Proven expertise in all phases of the project management life cycle
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with GA4 and Social Media Ads
  • Proven ability to interpret data from analytics
  • Strong storytelling abilities, experience crafting compelling sales-enablement collateral and educational technical presentations
  • Solid experience with email marketing software (e.g. Constant Contact/Mailchimp) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and content management for company websites
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to provide flawless execution
  • Consistent ability to successfully manage initiatives from start to finish
  • Excellent strategic thinking ability
  • Natural leadership ability and sound judgment
  • Experience leading a small marketing team
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
  • Ability and eagerness to learn new systems and new industries
  • Initiative, self-motivation, and “can do” attitude
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work comfortably with employees at all organizational levels
