Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Carpenter for work based in the Ottawa and Lanark County area. The Lead Carpenter will perform and oversee various carpentry tasks and projects, including framing, finish carpentry, and using hand and power tools. Daily tasks will involve performing work, possibly managing a team, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, and collaborating with other construction professionals.

The candidate will have their own tools.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Carpentry, including framing and finish carpentry skills
  • Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
