Shift: Wednesday/Thursday OFF; 8:00 - 4:00PM
What you'll do:
- Ensuring the accuracy of all data on Driver trip sheets, including hours, miles, pay adjustments and deductions prior to submission for payroll processing
- Verifying and accurately entering statutory holidays, vacations, sick days, bereavement, leave of absence and other employee absences in Kronos and/or Workday
- Onboarding and offboarding of colleagues in corporate HRIS/payroll systems
- Calculating various pay adjustments such as statutory holiday time worked, wage premiums and bonuses
- Ensuring that payroll corrections or adjustments are properly documented, approved and entered
- Auditing of SOPs, identification of root cause and corrective actions to ensure accurate pay to colleagues
- Configuring, testing, and validation of pay rules in payroll systems
- Conduct final review of pay statements prior to distribution
- Producing ad hoc reports for Senior Management as required
- Other administrative, clerical, and auditing activities as required
What you bring:
A Post-Secondary education in Finance or related field is required; experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly corporate and/or retail will be considered an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to bring together and manage interactions with employees from across the organization
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage demanding situations with tact
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
Results Oriented - able to consistently deliver on time and accurate results
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Familiar with SAP system is preferred
