Infrastructure Manager

As the Infrastructure Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and maintaining the effective and efficient operation of the Qixas technical infrastructure. This will include the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of on-premise and cloud-based server compute resources, network infrastructure and data protection as well as end-user support for the Qixas Team. As an Infrastructure Manager, you'll also be accountable for ensuring the evolution and delivery of efficient technology operations as well as overall cybersecurity posture for all infrastructure-related components. This role considered 60% internal and 40% external to start dealing with on-prem and SaaS environments.Job DutiesLead the implementation of new technologies and maintenance of existing technologyLearn and master the installation, configuration and support of all current and future products soldResearch other technologies for both potential sales opportunities as well as incorporation into Qixas infrastructureCollaborate with relevant stakeholders on both internal and customer facing as requiredSupport the Sales team where necessary to meet customers hardware and software requirementsAssist the Executive team with strategy, forecasting, budgets, expenditures, and technology vendor managementDocument, maintain and monitor daily infrastructure operationsSupport applications and systems by meeting or exceeding standards and service levels while minimizing operational riskEnsure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, root causes options, and recommendations for prompt resolutionMonitor system life cycles, ensure specifications and functionality support business objectives and architecture requirementsDisaster recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution (define, review, test)Support delivery team with infrastructure assistance, deployments, environment migrations, migrations from on-prem to SaaSRequirementsMinimum 5 years of professional information technology experience gained from within an enterprise level computing environmentDegree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experienceAD/Security Entra o Identity Management o Groups o User o Mail Enabled o SecurityBusiness Central / NAV o Server Tier Management o Security o User o Server/Application o Performance Best PracticesDynamics 365 / CRMPower Platform/DataverseMicrosoft 365 o SharePoint o Exchange (Mailbox - user and shared) o Office o Teams (Voice)Project ServerSQL Server o DBA Skills o Performance best practicesNetworking and connectivity including VPN'sPowershellMicrosoft Azure o Application IDs o Application Insights o Containers o Remote Desktop o Key Vault o SQL o Virtual MachinesWindows Servers and DesktopsIISContainersLighthouse o CSP Licensing/Account Management o GDAP o Remote SupportProficient at diagnosing hardware and software problemsProficiency in computer hardware, software, cabling, installation, networking, and securityTeam management and leadership skillsMulti-tasking and time management skillsBudget Management and optimization skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsPrevious production of technical documentation, including detailed network diagramsResearch expertise on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development effortsExperience with disaster recovery and business continuity managementExperience supporting system issues, including making infrastructure upgrades and efficient handling with troubleshooting issuesAbility to multitaskExcellent written and oral communication, people skills, planning, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced team environmentWillingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines when requiredCertifications in Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cyber Security, etc. would be an asset
