Infrastructure Manager

As the Infrastructure Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and maintaining the effective and efficient operation of the Qixas technical infrastructure. This will include the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of on-premise and cloud-based server compute resources, network infrastructure and data protection as well as end-user support for the Qixas Team. As an Infrastructure Manager, you'll also be accountable for ensuring the evolution and delivery of efficient technology operations as well as overall cybersecurity posture for all infrastructure-related components. This role considered 60% internal and 40% external to start dealing with on-prem and SaaS environments. Job Duties Lead the implementation of new technologies and maintenance of existing technology Learn and master the installation, configuration and support of all current and future products sold Research other technologies for both potential sales opportunities as well as incorporation into Qixas infrastructure Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on both internal and customer facing as required Support the Sales team where necessary to meet customers hardware and software requirements Assist the Executive team with strategy, forecasting, budgets, expenditures, and technology vendor management Document, maintain and monitor daily infrastructure operations Support applications and systems by meeting or exceeding standards and service levels while minimizing operational risk Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, root causes options, and recommendations for prompt resolution Monitor system life cycles, ensure specifications and functionality support business objectives and architecture requirements Disaster recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution (define, review, test) Support delivery team with infrastructure assistance, deployments, environment migrations, migrations from on-prem to SaaS Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional information technology experience gained from within an enterprise level computing environment Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience AD/Security Entra o Identity Management o Groups o User o Mail Enabled o Security Business Central / NAV o Server Tier Management o Security o User o Server/Application o Performance Best Practices Dynamics 365 / CRM Power Platform/Dataverse Microsoft 365 o SharePoint o Exchange (Mailbox – user and shared) o Office o Teams (Voice) Project Server SQL Server o DBA Skills o Performance best practices Networking and connectivity including VPN's Powershell Microsoft Azure o Application IDs o Application Insights o Containers o Remote Desktop o Key Vault o SQL o Virtual Machines Windows Servers and Desktops IIS Containers Lighthouse o CSP Licensing/Account Management o GDAP o Remote Support Proficient at diagnosing hardware and software problems Proficiency in computer hardware, software, cabling, installation, networking, and security Team management and leadership skills Multi-tasking and time management skills Budget Management and optimization skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Previous production of technical documentation, including detailed network diagrams Research expertise on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity management Experience supporting system issues, including making infrastructure upgrades and efficient handling with troubleshooting issues Ability to multitask Excellent written and oral communication, people skills, planning, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines when required Certifications in Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cyber Security, etc. would be an asset
