This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESGreet guests in a welcoming and enthusiastic mannerActs as an ambassador of the Hotel and the National Park offering guests information about hotel history, available services, points of interest in the surrounding area, and entertainment optionsRegister and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guestsAssists management with responding to reviews, surveys, comments and feedback via phone, email, software, and in personAssists guests with elevator, and luggage as neededCommunicates effectively with the housekeeping, bell and maintenance departments to update the status of room readiness, arrivals, and departuresActs as liaison between hotel management and guests to communicate, and respond appropriately in emergency situations and incident reportingHandles telephone and email communication including reservations, inquiries, disputes, and handovers between guests and front office teamManages multiple software systems that communicate with various departments to ensure operational needsKeeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to appropriate departmentsAssists with cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the front office/lobby to prepare for each dayListen to guest concerns and resolve issues to the best of your ability.Carefully tracks/handles cash, credit, and room charges to ensure accurate payments making daily depositsOffer assistance to guests and teammates where neededAssists with night audit coverage as neededREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSPrevious Front Desk experience strongly preferredWork-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is keyWilling and able to work solo or as a part of a larger teamCommitted to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standardsOrganized with a great eye for detailKind to others and always bring your bestA good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutionsAn active listener and the ability to tell stories to guestsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks at onceAbility to anticipate guest needsCalm demeanor with conflict resolution skillsMotivated, energetic, and professionalHelpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mileRelaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve ballsReady for an adventurous summerHelpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mileRelaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve ballsThe starting wage for this role is $18.50/hour.
