ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESWork with other hotel staff to personalize the guest experience, encouraging guests to refresh and relax in Canada's most famous national parkProvide a professional, friendly and efficient check-in and check-out process and coordinates efforts to accommodate any requestsAct as an ambassador for Pursuit, as well as the surrounding area in Jasper National Park, to fully enhance the experience of all guests staying at our Jasper HotelsWelcome and register arriving guestsPromote and sell roomsCheck-out departing guests, review guest accountsPost incidental charges to rooms and process paymentsUse proper telephone etiquetteHandle reservations by phone and in personHandle a high-volume of general enquiriesProvide information on hotel facilities, local points of interest, services in areaCommunicate with other departmentsRespond to guest concerns and complaintsAssorted clerical duties, maintaining a clean work environmentREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSCommitted to exceptional guest serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust thrive on dealing with people and be guest focusedSuperb attention to detailAbility to multi-task while handling high-pressure situationsEnergetic and highly-motivatedAbility to work all days and shifts, mornings, evenings, weekendsHigh school or equivalent educationThe starting wage for this role is $18.50/hour.
