THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

  • Add/remove, review, modify, validate, classify, moderate content in or submitted to the database
  • Proactively craft and upgrade proposal content to enhance materials available for proposals and presentations
  • Maintain relationships with internal SMEs to identify additions/revisions required to the content database
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance of database information
  • Review the structure of the knowledge base on a regular basis, to ensure that it reflects the needs of the business
  • Motivate and manage contributors to ensure commitment to updating content on a preagreed cycle
  • Perform managerial duties related to direct and indirect reports
  • Work with marketing/graphic designers as required, maintaining a comprehensive library of images
  • Partner with the Director of Corporate Proposals to pursue longterm continuous improvement objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3 years of prior experience in content management
  • Knowledge of Association of Proposal Management Professional best practices
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills that demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience/proficiency with coaching/mentoring/training team members and other internal stakeholders
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Researching
  • Database taxonomy/design logic
  • Resourcefulness
  • Ability to work collegially under strict deadline pressure and handle multiple work assignments
  • Ability to learn quickly, demonstrates critical thinking, and makes situationappropriate decisions using sound judgment
  • Comfortable in an environment where they may not have a full grasp or understanding of all of the content being managed Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset
